Taylor 855 12string 1997

I used to play Taylor guitars on stage in the 90ies. They were equipped with bridge PUs and a microphone inside. The two signals could be mixed in a special pre-amp to get a more acoustic and natural sound.

This was working very well with a band on stage but I sold the Taylors and the preamp after quitting the band and ending a nearly 7 year “unplugged” tour.

I acquired this Taylor 12string 15 years later later, looking for a big body rosewood 12string, still knowing that especially these high end Taylor 12strings from the 90ies are really outstanding sounding and playing instruments, especially whith brazilian rosewood back and sides.
