Guild Mark II , 1964

This is a Hoboken built Mark II classic guitar of 1964. A lightweight, easy to play instrument, body made of honduras mahagony, top made of spruce., rosewood fretboard and mahagony neck give it a warm and woody, yet crystal sound. You find these guitars a lot in the vintage market, liked and looked for by folk - and country-players, often quite underpriced, in my opinion. This particular one has seen a neckset , unfortunately the heel aera was oversprayd with a slightly darker colour, dont know why. Could be a great first and not expensive gem for a starting guitar collector. and of course, a player. You could do nothing wrong with it. If not played, it still sits in its original, quite worn but stable Guild-case.
